The PhishSpot Network was established to combat phishing and protect consumers from Identity Theft where personal, credit or other sensitive information is collected by phishing and other fraudulent means on the Internet. By operating as a centralized clearinghouse for digital incidents and distributed response through multi-directional collaboration with financial institutions, internet providers, law enforcement and forensic specialists the PhishSpot subscriber coalition aims to bridge the gap between initial detection and legal enforcement.
